Mimi's Parents
As children, our mother's mother's parents migrated to New Mexico Territory before 1900. One came west from Ellis County, Texas without her mother. The other was carried south by the Mormon trekkers who founded Bluff City, Utah. They started a family as teenagers. |
Granddaddy's Parents
Our mother's father's parents both migrated to El Paso before 1900 as young adults. With her mother, one traveled north across an empty desert from the interior of Chihuahua. On his own, the other sailed west over the Atlantic seas. They started their family at older ages of 25 and 32 years. |
