Four of their six children reached adulthood.

• 1903 Sidney Lakin (died as infant) 
• 1905 Hazel Kirilla (my grandmother)
• 1907 Robert Alphus Douglass (died as infant). 

She was married once, to the boy next door.  He divorced her in about 1915 and Lucy raised the children on her own in Mogollon. She was a talented seamstress.
